6. How to properly handle khat pieces with names of Allah, or with quotes from the Quran?

As some of our merchandise contains the text ‘Allah’ and quotes from the Quran - a divine revelation, it is our shared responsibility to take good care of them when we handle them. Below are just some guidelines we can follow as advised from some of our asatizahs or teachers.

PUT THEM AT A CLEAN PLACE

Proper handling of our merchandise with Quranic verses requires one to be in a state of purity and cleanliness, and it should be placed or stored in a clean, respectable way.

DO NOT BRING THEM TO THE TOILET

As advised from our asatizahs, in the case of public toilets, the cubicle is considered the toilet so the sink area outside is permissible. Nonetheless, it will be best to avoid them if possible.

PROPER DISPOSAL

The words of Allah must be disposed of in a way which shows reverence to the holiness of the text. As our merchandise are mostly printed and handwritten, there are two ways you can dispose them which is by shredding or by burning them completely. One must ensure that no words are left legible and the text is unrecognizable as verses of the Quran.

7. I saw that you sell na’al stickers, what does na’al mean?

Na’al or na’layn in arabic means the blessed sandals of the Prophet s.a.w which were used during his lifetime. The sandals of the Beloved Messenger of Allah s.a.w, hold a unique place of honour and reverence in the heart of Muslims throughout the globe. They are often referred to as Naalayn Paak, or Naalayn Sharif. A pair of the sacred sandals is kept in the famous Topkapi Palace Museum in Turkey, along with many other rare and holy relics collected throughout Islamic history. The stickers we designed are just the silhouette and cut-out shape of the blessed sandals. We may seek blessings in it by keeping a copy of the noble sandals of our Beloved s.a.w. Our objectives in these stickers is ultimately to remind about Rasulullah and to instill love towards him s.a.w such that we will always be reminded of his exalted and noble character.

Imam al Nawawi states in his commentary of Sahih Muslim, “It is recommended to seek blessings through the relics of the righteous and their clothes (istihbab al-tabarruk bi aathaar al-salihin wa thiyabihim).” [Sharh Sahih Muslim, Book 37, Chapter 2, No. 10]

8. Do you accept returns?

No, we do not accept any returns after payment is done and the purchased products are delivered. We advise to check the invoice with the stated texts especially for custom works before making any payments. However, if you have received the wrong product, kindly alert us via email or message us on IG, and we will look into it.

Reverence of the Blessed Sandals

Love is the strongest of all human attachments, and is the greatest thing that distinguishes the relationship of Muslims with their Prophet s.a.w , who said, “None of you truly believes until I am more beloved to him than his very self, wealth, and all people.” (al-Bukhari)

Motivated by this love, as well as by an understanding of the immense importance of the personal example of Messenger s.a.w, the Muslim community has recorded and preserved his entire life in the most exacting detail. The Islamic scholars do not limit their attention to the moral and legal example of the Messenger s.a.w alone. Rather, they also focus on his daily life, like his habits of eating, drinking and sleeping, as well as other matters that do not have immediate legal implications. From that time until this present day, Muslims have sought to imitate the example of their Beloved s.a.w in all its detail, unless they were of particular matters that Allah Most High chose only for Messenger s.a.w himself. The Prophet’s s.a.w external, physical appearance was also among the matters that Muslims pay great attention to, as were his habits of dress. Amongst the matters of external appearance, the Prophet’s s.a.w noble sandals receive particular attention, perhaps because of what his followers feel; utmost love and humility for their Beloved Prophet s.a.w, such that they see themselves not even worthy of the dust under his Blessed Feet s.a.w.

The attention given to the noble sandals is not an innovated matter. Rather, the first generations, from the Companions of the Prophet s.a.w (Allah bless him and give him peace), were the first to give them attention and importance, such that some of them were known to have distinguished themselves with serving the noble sandals. It has been reported by Ibn Sa`d that Anas (Allah be well pleased with him) was the keeper of the sandals of the Messenger of Allah s.a.w (Allah bless him and give him peace).
